About Our in-service Solutions

Direct in-service support

Developing Practices: Develop team members' understanding for making real-time professional judgements using necessary, proportionate, appropriate and justifiable responses in high-risk situations.
Coaching and Mentoring: Provide in-person and in-situ coaching and mentoring feedback to enhance staff confidence, skills, knowledge and confidence. This can be offered to staff and management teams as a whole, or individually to new, inexperienced or established team members.
Debrief and Incident Reviewing:  An analysis of staff approaches, environmental factors and the individual's behaviours to understand the context of high-risk situations. This instils a sense of investment and support in individual staff or staff teams, which reduces the risk of staff feeling unsupported.
Crisis Assessment:  Develop a culture of positive risk-taking within services; understanding how positive experiences can influence an individual's behaviour, rather than waiting for their behaviour to 'improve' before a person can partake in meaningful activities.
Adopting a positive risk-taking mindset:  Change cultures and thinking so services, managers and staff feel empowered to approach people with complex behavioural challenges differently. Recognising opportunities to manage risk positively by implementing skills, knowledge and understanding, enabling individuals to flourish.
